Big Bjoern Werner may have given us a pretty good clue as to which school he'll commit to on Wednesday. The 3-Star German D-lineman who attends a Connecticut prep school told the NFL Network's Rich Eisen that he "wants to go somewhere warm" after growing up in Berlin and going to school in New England. Werner is down to FSU and Oregon. And you can bet Nole recruiters have educated Bjoern on how chilly it gets in Eugene much of the year. Werner played Saturday in the USA vs. the World game in Ft. Lauderdale that was broadcast by the NFL Network.
Good news on 4-star Christian Green. The Tampa Catholic playmaker had "a lot of questions answered" during his FSU visit this weekend, according to his Father who talked to the St. Pete Times. Green's dad said that Jimbo told Christian he's "part of that vision" that Fisher has for the Noles.
Telvin's whirlwind weekend. Several sources report Valdosta's ace LB Telvin Smith is so torn over a decision between FSU and Georgia that he hit both schools again -- Tallahassee on Friday and Athens on Saturday. We're hoping the trip drove home the difference in travel time between Valdosta and the two schools -- especially for his family. They're the ones who'll be making the short trek to Doak or the 5-hour drive to Dawg town several times every fall.
