Valdosta's most wanted man, Greg Reid, is just back from his visit to Athens. And, again, Mark Richt offered more than a scholarship. This time Richt is reserving the no. 24 (Knowshon Moreno's old number) for Reid.
Reid didn't bite. āIām not going to to rate it ⦠The Georgia coaches were great and I had a lot of fun, just like my other visits,ā Reid told reporters.
As for Reid's grade situation: Our Valdosta contact, Mike Davis of Winnersville Sports, said Reid has assured him he's "in good shape" on grades and that he made his ACT score. Reid will announce his school of choice Tuesday night during Davis's show on Talk 92.1.
Orson Charles loves 'em all. Another guy right up there at the top of every Nole's wish list is a confused young man. Orson Charles loved his trip to Tennessee this weekend so much that he gave it a perfect 10. Trouble is, he rated all of his other visits -- FSU, UGA and that Hogtown school -- the same.
If he's confused now, wait'll Charles takes a spin around Hollywood in Pete Carroll's convertible during his Southern Cal visit in two weeks. The Tampa Plant TE says he'll try to make a decision after that. Let's hope he remembers that Tallahassee has as many beautiful women per capita as L.A.
