FSU M.I.A.: 2007 Cornerback Signee Turns up at Mississippi JC

Among the players Missing in Action this fall at FSU will be Bernard Brinson. ChantRant learned that Brinson, a tough little Cornerback from Madison who signed with Noles last year, has moved on to Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi.

Itawamba's Head Coach Jeff Terrill told us, "Bernard has enrolled at ICC and we are very excited to have a player of his caliber joining our program. We do plan to have him starting at corner and returning punts, and maybe sneaking him a little at receiver."

Frankie Carroll, Brinson's high school coach at Madison, says that Brinson "is still high on the Noles and hopes to return to FSU." Carroll added that Brinson wasn't eligible at FSU because he never got the greenlight from the NCAA Clearinghouse.
