During Wednesday's ACC media conference call, Bobby Bowden was asked if Saturday's 10 p.m. (EDT) kickoff was a little late for him. Said the early-retiring FSU Coach: "I'll be waking up to go to the game. I go to bed about 7:30. So that'd be 5:30 out there."

Word has it that the assistant who wrangles Bobby's earphones on the sidelines has been instructed to have a large thermos of coffee at the ready.
