After the fax machine stopped spitting out Letters of Intent in FSU's recruiting War Room, Jeremy Pruitt finally had a chance to speak during the evening's signing day celebration. Here what he said about the process and some of the marquee guys he'll be coaching:
"It’s about relationships, it’s about trust and what Lawrence (Dawsey), Odell (Haggins) and Rick (Trickett) and Jimbo have done for the last three weeks is unbelievable. The rest of us just tried to jump in. We followed their lead."

"I’m going to give you some things that I’m looking for in defensive backs … the first thing we want to see is can the guy play man to man? The next thing, can you play the ball in the deep part of the field? Can you tackle in space?"

[The DBs]- "The good thing is we got three guys in this class that can do it all. I would not trade them for any three in the country."

[Nate Andrews] – "He may be my favorite. I’ve been recruiting Nate since he was in the ninth grade. Nobody knows a whole lot about him. The thing about Nate is this – he’s one of the toughest guys you’ll ever meet. He has great ability, great character and the bigger occasion, the better Nate plays."

[Jalen Ramsey] – Jalen is a guy that has great size. We want great size. He has size and speed. Jalen has a chance to be a really good player.

[Marquez White] – I’ve known him since the ninth grade. Great skills. I feel like I can shoot the basketball a little bit. Ain’t nobody out there that can guard me. I went and played him in HORSE for a week. I didn’t win a game. Marquez was also one of our best recruiters."
